DOVE, BESSIE KATHLEEN (NEE ELLIOT) 1919-2004 Passed away peacefully on Friday September 10th, 2004 in her 86th year at Coleman Health Care Centre Barrie. Beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) Alford for 40 years and most recently cherished wife of Angus Dove also deceased. Dear mother of Jim (wife Judy) and Dick (wife Carol). Loving grandmother of Jessica, (husband Roger), Jason, Justin (wife Dana), Shannon and Christina (partner Chris). Great grandmother to Aidan. Survived by her sister Mary Gowland and predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Bessie is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Bessie's love of quilting, baking and community activities made her many friends. She will be missed by fellow euchre players and Maple Leaf Club members. Many thanks to her caregivers at Coleman Centre and Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie. Friends may call at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home (Hwy 27 North) Cookstown on Sunday from 7-9pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Cookstown United Church Cookstown on Tuesday September 14th at 11:00am.
