-> Rincon - Bessie Gradick Edwards, 96, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Effingham Hospital. The Effingham County native was a member of Mizpah United Methodist Church and was one of the last survivors of Dowling Bag Co., of Savannah/Valdosta. She loved working with her flowers and her fish pond. Survivors include two children, James Hiott of Savannah and Norma Lee Phillips of Rincon; five stepchildren, Richard Price of Tacoma, WA, Luther Price of Augusta, Walter Price of Townsend, Vivian Jasinski of Henderson, ID and Charles Price of Orlando, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. Funeral: 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Mizpah United Methodist Church.
