GRAY (Brown), Beryl Mae "Betty" GRAY (Brown), Beryl Mae "Betty" - 85, born November 24, 1922, in Moncton, N.B., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in QEII Health Sciences Centre on February 27, 2008. She was a daughter of the late Greta Brown (VanBuskirk). She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Ralph; sister, Doreen Burns. The Salvation Army was an important part of her life. She loved her Lord dearly and was saved at the tender age of 12 and devoted her life to serving Him until she entered into His presence. She was a junior soldier, corps cadet, songster and officer for three years. She entered The Salvation Army Training College 1948-1949. She was in the Peacemaker Session and became and officer for three years. Over the years she was corps secretary and Home League secretary. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years, Malcolm Gray; daughters, Karen (Robert Lawther), Janet Anderson, and son, David (Cathy) Gray; grandchildren, Jaymz, Matthew, Anne, Christopher, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla, Jonathan, Cameron, and Aiden. Special thanks to the Cobequid Medical Centre and Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Atlantic Funeral Home, Lower Sackville. Funeral Saturday, March 1, at 2 p.m. in The Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Living Memorial Fund at The Salvation Army, 51 Metropolitan Ave., Lower Sackville, NS B4C 3Z6.
