RUSSELL, Bertha Jean (nee Elliott) August 31, 1906 - April 16,2003 After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Bertha passed away at Roseview Manor in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on April 16, 2003 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by parents William and Elizabeth Elliott, by her first husband John Robertson in Arnprior in 1938, by her second husband Orville (Buster) Russell in 1976 in Thunder Bay, and by sisters, Eva, Annie and Lila and by brothers, Dolphie, Stewart, Austin, Hillard and Walter. She is survived by 1 sister Ruby Elliott and by her children Mildred (Gerald) Latendresse, Pickering, Ontario, Vernon (Arlene) Robertson, Thunder Bay, Ontario, John (Rose) Robertson, Lake Worth, Florida, Anne (Howard) Morrison, Marathon, Ontario, Eileen (Gary) Cryderman, Thunder Bay, Ontario and Molly (Gerry) Green, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and Services were held at Jenkens Funeral Home. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Our beloved mother and grandmother will be greatly missed.
