Mrs. Bertha Peterson of College Park, MD, formerly of Panama City, FL went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 20, 2011. She was 88.She was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Panama City, Fla. She retired from the State of Florida as a State Auditor.She is survived by her loving children: Earl Brown, Donald Andrews (Gloria), both of Tampa, Fla., Willie Lamar Andrews (Doris) of Lakeland, Fla., Ramoth Andrews, Jr. (Barbara) of Gainesville, Fla., Angela Smith of Tallahassee, Fla., the Rev. Dr. Emory Andrews of College Park, Md and Quinsetta Andrews of Panama City, Fla.; one sister: Rebecca Lee of Panama City, Fla; a sister-in-law: Ruth Brown of Mobile, Ala.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a godson, Christopher Richardson of College Park, Md.; goddaughter: Lorraine Thomas of Temple Hills, Md.; many loving family and friends who will greatly miss her.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time at 11a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 908 East 8th Street, Panama City, FL. She will be laid to rest in the Euchee Valley Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
