Untitled BERTHA L. JOHNSON 1930 - 2009 Bertha L. Johnson, age 79, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009. Mrs. Johnson was born October 22, 1930. She was the seventh of ten children. She was educated in the public schools of Pensacola, FL. She was a licensed cosmetologist. Mrs. Johnson was married to the late Chief Cleveland Johnson. She was the mother of seven children, three preceded her in death. She was employed for tenty-one years at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, having united with Christ at a younge age. Survivors include one daughter; Celeste F. Robinson (Newnan, GA); three sons, Jimmy (San Jose, CA), Cleveland and David; two granddaughters, Lisa Robinson (Atlanta, GA) and Tracey C. Jones (Los Angeles, CA); one great-grandson, Dylan M. Harrell (Los Angeles, CA); three sisters, Henrietta (Warren), Alberta Jackson (Nashville, TN), Dorothy Fisher (Nashville, TN); one sister-in-law, Bernice Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and church family and friends. Services will be held Monday, December 21 at 10:30am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. James P. Brown, pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery. Public viewing will be held 12noon til 9:30pm on Sunday, December 20, 2009.
