FISET, Bertha (nee Godin) - In loving memory of Bertha (nee Godin) Fiset, 83 years, who passed away Wednesday, August 8th, 2007 at the SRH - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Bertha was born in Blind River and moved to Sudbury as an infant. She had worked at Jack's Lunch and the Nickel Range Hotel. Bertha loved life and lived it to the fullest having many interests and activities which included bingo, fishing, dancing, volunteering at the Sudbury General Hospital spending time at her camp on Birch Lake and later at her relatives properties in Estaire, shooting pool, snowmobiling, socializing with friends and spending quality time with family members. Beloved mother of Victoria “Vickki“ (husband Norman Whalen) of Sudbury. Cherished Meme Ya Ya to Norma Whalen (friend George) and Michael Whalen (wife Michelle) both of Sudbury; and great grandchildren William and Crystal Terris. Dear daughter of Charles and Clouie (MacGregor) Godin predeceased. Loving sister of Stella Lepire (husband Buck), Germaine Larue (husband Phenny), Annette Gauthier and Robert Godin (wife Marie) all of Sudbury, and the late Celina, Russell, Rene, Ronald, Edna, Jane, Norman and Lillian all predeceased. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass in Ste. Anne de Pins Church, 14 Beech St. Sudbury, Saturday, August 11th, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury.
