AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bertha M. Allen entered into rest on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 12 noon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson, SC. Mrs. Allen retired from St. Joseph Hospital after twenty eight years of service. Survivors are two sisters, Velma Harmon, Augusta, Ruth (Dandy) Davis, Jackson, SC; brother, George Willie (Victoria) Golphin, Jackson, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Blvd.
