February 25, 2003 Bernice A. Bartlett Williams, 86, of Syracuse and Mexico Point died Tuesday at home. Born in New Haven, CT moved to Syracuse in 1924. She was a graduate of North High School and attended Syracuse City Normal School. She was a teacher in the Syracuse School District for 20 years. She retired in 1973 from Franklin School. She was a member of Bellevue Heights United Methodist Church and Hope Circle. She volunteered at Community General Hospital for 25 years, was a member of Vera Cruz Yacht Club, Community General Hosp. Auxiliary, Stonehedge & Western Hills Duplicate Bridge Clubs. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Williams (1995). Survivors: 3 sons, Jack of Phoenix, AZ., James of Syracuse, Robert of Toledo, OH, 2 Sisters Marion Smith of Delaware, OH, and Florence Vest of Tiffin, OH, 8 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Services: 11:00 AM Saturday at Bellevue Heights United Methodist Church. Calling hours 6-8PM Friday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W.
