BERNADETTE DAUPHINAIS It is with sadness we announce the passing of Bernadette Dauphinais (nee Armstrong) at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. on Sept. 7, 1999. Bernadette was born June 23, 1911 and raised mostly in the Stratton area of Ontario. Most recently, she was a resident of the Villa Nova Seniors residence in Winnipeg, Man. Bernie was predeceased by her husband, Bill Dauphinais in 1972. She leaves to mourn her children, Murray (Lori) of Surrey, B.C., Linda of Vancouver, and Terry (Ainslie) of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Dawn, Glen, and Marshall of Vancouver, and Colin, Jamie, Bryce and Kyle of Winnipeg. She also is survived by her brothers and sisters, Terry, Melvin, Robert, Sylvester, Margurite, Elizabeth, Alvira, and Rita; along with her sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Vancouver on Monday, Sept. 13, 1999. A memorial service, conducted by Father Patrick Morand, will be held Friday, Sept. 17, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vital Parish (1629 Pembina Hwy.), Winnipeg, Man., with interment to follow at Garry Memorial.
