Former Telephone Operator with New England Telephone. Devoted daughter of the late William L. Nixon, (Ret. Lt. Cambridge Police Department) and the late Nora E. (Dempsey) Nixon. Beloved wife of the late James J. Sr., (Ret. Boston Police Department). Loving mother of James J. Foley Jr. of East Bridgewater and his wife Karen, Eleanor M. Devine and her husband Robert of Weymouth, William Foley and his wife Judy of Rockland and June M. Foley of Hingham. Sister of Sr. M. Laurellen Nixon SSND of Wilton, CT. Cherished grandmother of Kerry Lynn White, James J. III and his wife Janise, Shannnon E. Foley, William L. Devine, Erin E. Foley, Robert H. Devine and Michael J. Foley. Great- grandmother of precious Haylee James.
