LINCOLN - Benjamin Lewis Kimball, 63, husband of Rhonda (Dill) Kimball, passed away peacefully Feb. 3, 2008. He was born May 11, 1944, in Medway, the son of James Kimball and Eula (Coffin) Rossignol. Benny graduated from Schenk High School in 1962. He worked at Great Northern Paper and for Sheridan Smith Inc. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Avon D. Flanders VFW Post No. 1438. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and family. Over the past few years, you would always find Benny in front of a TV with a Play Station paddle in his hands, cussing and swearing, with his three beloved dogs, Kisha, Kasha and Kia, at his side. In addition to his wife, Rhonda of Lincoln; and his mother, Eula of Medway, he is survived by two daughters, Kattie Whiting and her husband, Jeffrey, and Katina Booker and her husband, David, all of Lincoln; a brother, Skip Kimball and his wife, Belinda, of Medway; a sister, Donna Phillips of Belgrade; mother-in-law, Mabel Dill; brother-in-law, Paul Dill; sister-in-law, Brenda Ellingwood, all of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Byron Dill of Ellsworth; brother-in-law, Bernice Dill and his wife, Sherry, of Bradley; five grandchildren, Laura-Beth, Jeffri-lynn and Jordan Whiting, Logan and Zachariah "Zeek" Booker, all of Lincoln; "adopted grandchildren," Chad and Amanda Bailey, Thomas King, KJ Rich, Tiara and Whitney Taylor, all of Lincoln and Ethan Powers of Enfield; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves very special fri-ends, George and Izzy Walsh, and Owen Smith; and a special niece, Beth Nelson. He was prdeceased by his father, James; stepfather, Frank Rossignol; father-in-law, Byron Dill; and brother-in-law, Terry Ellingwood. Friends and family may gather in remembrance 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Rhonda and Benny's home, 406 Main St., Lincoln.
