<!-- FH = Cox Funeral Home -->Benjamin "Ben" Kenneth JordanBeltonBenjamin "Ben" Kenneth Jordan, 16, of 225 Bill Kay Rd. died Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Anderson County, he was the son of Kenneth Arlue and Michelle Lowie Jordan. He was a member of Beech Springs Tabernacle, a Boy Scout of Troop #5 of Honea Path where he was a few steps from obtaining his Eagle Scout. He was an Offensive Lineman for the BHP football team and a future Clemson Offensive Lineman. He was also an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and dearly loved his Belton Honea Path Bears.Surviving in addition to his parents of the home are: brothers, Cody Jordan of Easley and Jacob Jordan of the home; grandparents, Harold and JoAnn Lowie of Belton and Morris and Clara Jordan of Honea Path; special friend, Rashelle Smith of Easley.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy S. Lowie and uncle, H. Steven Lowie.A celebration of Ben's life will be held 3pm Sunday at Beech Springs Tabernacle with Rev. Eric Boggs, Rev. Alex Henderson and Coach Russell Blackston officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.The family will receive friends from 6pm until 9pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home.Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the Scholarship of the BHP Athletic Dept. The family will be at the home of Harold and JoAnn Lowie, 201 Park Rd. Belton.
