Beatrice Therese Beaudry February 10, 1932 November 19, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Beatrice Beaudry. Mom died on November 19, 2010, at the age of 78, in the Saskatoon Convalescent Home. She will be sadly missed by her children Henri (Laura) Beaudry, Rose (Henry) Karwacki, Denise (Randie) Potts, Alice (Clem) Fontaine, Philip (Dawn) Beaudry, Roland Beaudry, Susanne (Darren) Dahlseide, Adrien (Janice) Beaudry; and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Beatrice is survived by her brothers and sisters Monique, Rose (Gordon), Sister Alice, Alfred (Carol), Leo (Georgette), Ernest (Jayne), Luc (Katherine), Lucille (Orest), and Adele (Marcel). Beatrice is predeceased by her parents Eugene and Lucienne Labrecque; her husband, Gerard; her sisters Carol, Ilda, Louise, and Therese; her brothers-in-law Edouard and Edward; and sisters-in-law, Florence and Clareanne; and her daughter, Diane. Mom was born and raised in Rosetown, SK. In 1952, she married Gerard Beaudry, and moved to St. Denis, where she raised nine children. She worked as a housekeeper, seamstress, and cook. Mom was always actively involved in the French Roman Catholic church, and was awarded an appreciation award for 30 years of involvement with the choir and fall suppers. Mom had many hobbies and interests, including travel, hiking, gardening and canning, and bird watching. She loved nature, and made it the subject of her photography and painting. We'll always remember Mom's deep-hearted laugh, big hugs, and prayers over her children and grandchildren. The family extends thanks to Simona's Care Home and the staff of the Saskatoon Convalescent Home for the wonderful care they've provided in recent years. A Vigil of Prayer will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2010. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24 by Rev. Rheal Bussiere. Both services will be held at Sts. Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Parish (1007 Windsor St. Saskatoon). Rite of Committal will take place in St. Denis, SK.
