->BREWER - Beatrice R. Carter, 88, died March 18, 2014 in Brewer. She was born in Lake Placid, NY, the daughter of Orville and Rita Boevin.Bea worked for 20 years at the Lake Placid Club as the Dinning room Capt. She and her husband, Hazen then moved to Hampton, NH and operated a restaurant for 2 years. They then moved to Bangor in the 80's and Bea worked at Bass Shoe retiring at 62. She then went to work for the Lemforder corp. for 21 years. Bea loved to travel and going on Cruise Line trips.She is survived by two sons, James Fogarty of PA and David Fogarty of NY.; three granddaughters, Shannen Fogarty of WA, Morgan Fogarty of NC and Katie Fogarty of PA.; two brothers, Robert and William; two sisters, Ann and Joan. She was predeceased by her husband, Hazen and a sister, Virginia.Graveside services will be held 12 noon Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook, NH. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
