Beatrice Mary Sloan Kimball Davis, 93     LELAND, N.C. - Beatrice Mary Sloan Kimball Davis, known by her family and friends as Nana Bean, 93 passed away at her home in Leland, N.C., on Jan. 6, 2006 after a brief illness.      She was born in Portland on May 19, 1912 as the oldest daughter of the late Leona Gallant Sloan and John Wesley Sloan.     She was predeceased by all of her siblings including Leona E. Lyna, Philip M. Sloan, John T. Sloan, Dorothy M. Stairs, Viola Welch, and Eldona Lowery, all of Portland, and Rita Szot of South Portland. Ms. Davis was widowed by Staff Sergeant Robert A. Kimball in 1944 who was killed during World War II and also in 1981 by Blaine E. Davis of South Portland.     She was a bookkeeper for many years at Old Tavern Fann Milk Dairy. After retiring she worked at Sears Roebuck Catalog Department. Her favorite past times were reading, playing bridge, and enjoying her five great grandchildren.     Her daughter, Dorothy Lee Walton whom she lived with in Wilmington, N.C., for the past 10 years, survives her along with; her two loving grandchildren, Thomas C. Walton Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Kimberlee Walton Spores and her husband Kenneth of Durham, N.C.; five loving great-grandchildren; sisters-in- law, Lena Sloan of South Portland, and Joan Sloan of Windham, and many nieces and nephews.     A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 14, at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.          In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to her favorite charity that she personally benefited from:    Friends of the North Carolina Library for the Blind    1811 Capital Blvd.    Raleigh, NC 27635    Beatrice Mary Sloan Kimball Davis    Jones, Rich & Hutchins     Funeral Home & Cremation Service    775-3763
