Beatrice M. Lee a resident of Eastchester for over 50 years, died on January 18, 2001 at Skyview Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Wilmot. Dear mother of Richard Lee and Barbara Anderson. Cherished grandmother of David and Jonathan Lee and Amy and Christopher Anderson. She graduated from Grassland Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was a volunteer for Grasslands, White Plains Hospital, Lawrence Hospital and the Red Cross during World War II. She served as a consultant and leader for the Tuchahoe Eastchester Girls Scouts. She joined the Eastchester Woman's Club in 1957 and held many positions including President for four terms. She was president of the Woman's Auxiliary at St. Luke's Church, where she was a parishioner since 1950. Friends may gather at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC Eastchester, Monday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm. Services at St. Luke's Church, 98 Stewart Avenue, Eastchester, Tuesday, January 23rd at 10:00am with Rev. Sheila Biggs officiating followed by interment at Dale Cemetery, Ossining.
