BEATRICE JACKSON CLARK Beatrice Jackson Clark, 75, a native of Wabasso died at her home in Vallejo, California Saturday, November 13, 2010. Bea, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was one of three children born to Theodore and Sarah Jackson of Wabasso. She graduated from Gifford High School in 1951 and from Florida A & M University in 1955. After a brief period of teaching in the Florida public school system she moved to California where she continued to teach until her retirement. Bea had many close relatives and friends of whom more than 300 received a home-made Christmas card and letter each year. She was well known for her involvement and leadership in church and community activities. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Clark. She is survived by her three daughter - Livian Ellis, Melanie Anibaba, and Terilyn Wilson, all of California; two brothers - Raymond Jackson of Vero Beach and Arthur Jackson of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A service celebrating Bea's life will be conducted at Kyles Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, Vallejo, California at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010.
