WILLINGBORO - Beatrice Elizabeth Johnson, 84, of Willingboro, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2012, after a long illness in the Abigale Rehabilitation Center in Camden. Born in Osceola, Fla., she was a longtime resident of Trenton, but lived most of her later years in Willingboro. She retired from the New Jersey State Psychiatric Hospital in Trenton as an assistant occupational therapist. A lifetime dedicated member of Union Baptist Church in Trenton, she was an ombudsman for the institutionalized elderly. A graduate from the National School of Dress Design, she loved to sew; especially for her family and friends. She was extremely talented in many facets of arts and crafts and had a successful balloon art design business for several years. She was an honest and generous person with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husbands Cornell A. Teape and Prince Edward Johnson Sr. She leaves behind to mourn and cherish many wonderful memories, daughters, Patricia A. Teape Dubose of Willingboro, Faye Teape Little of Collingswood, Beverly E. Teape of New York; a son, Prince Edward Johnson Jr. of Willingboro; six grandchildren, Charlika Little of Mt. Laurel, Sean Dubose and Shane Doane both of Willingboro, Jewelie Stewart of Trenton, Dana DelliCarpini of New York, Justin Johnson of Georgia; and one great-granddaughter, Chyna Preston of Mt. Laurel. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Union Baptist Church, 301 Pennington Avenue, Trenton.
