<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Doris Eileen Nelson Stewart Barron Doris Eileen Nelson Stewart Barron, 90, of Tallahassee, Florida, was born in Ohio on June 30, 1923 and passed peacefully into the arms of her heavenly Father on September 14, 2013 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, after a long illness. Doris was a passionate Christian woman who lived her life seeing the best in everyone.Never judging a soul for where they came from, where they had been, how they looked, acted or what they had been through. Her philosophy was to love everyone no matter what. With her outgoing personality she never met a stranger, was a friend to everyone and gave herself and her time as freely as one can give and everyone she met thought very highly of her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Doris is preceded in death by her parents Roy & Fayetta Nelson, her husband Ed Stewart, her husband Halbert Barron, her son Wayne Barron, her sister Virginia Moody and her brother Roy "Bud" Nelson.She is survived by her sister, Jo Schweitzer, her brother Don Nelson (Elizabeth), her sister Berta Cribbs (Toby), her brother Bob Nelson (Maggie), 4 children Sandy Stewart (Bob), Mike Stewart, Robin Barber (Ron) and Steve Barron (Lori), 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a great many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a longtime member of Morningside Baptist Church in Tallahassee and faithfully involved in the Women's Missionary Union, the Silver Saints and her beloved Joy Sunday school class.The family invites friends and loved ones to attend a celebration of her life at 2:00 on October 12, 2013 at Morningside Baptist Church in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends an hour before the service in the sanctuary. The family is truly grateful to Big Bend Hospice for their love and support of Doris during her illness, and encourages your support of this noteworthy organization in lieu of flowers.
