WRIGHT, Barbara Joyce1917 - 2015 Peacefully at the Ottawa General on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the age of 97 following a week in hospital. Predeceased by her dear brother Archibald Wright and her parents Archibald and Fern Wright. She lived a kind and gentle life and will be missed by those close to her. She was a Good Companions Volunteer and member of Rebekah Lodge. She gave generously to the Ottawa Mission and was a supportive member of the Glebe St. James United Church. She will be fondly remembered by her very kind and special friend Diane Rapley (Ron), by her dear friend Lillian Kolba and her many friends and staff at Amica Bearbrook where she has lived for over 20 years. Also missed by her many cousins Don Wight (Pat), Hart Millman (Elyse), Nancy Winter-Hay (Jim), Susan Collins (Harry Dahme), Bob Millman (Lynn), Alison Kennedy, and her dear cousin Mary Collins. A Memorial Service will be held at Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made to the Ottawa Mission Foundation.
