Mrs. Barbara Perry Williams - PORT WENTWORTH - Mrs. Barbara Perry Williams, 75, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Westview Nursing Home. Mrs. Barbara was born in Sterling, GA to the late George W. and Pauline Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Williams and a brother, Emory Perry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth where she was also a former secretary. She retired from the Chatham County Board of Education. She was a Hospice volunteer and a member of the Savannah Lions Club for many years. She was also a member of the L.A.M.O.P.H. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jane W. and Alan Moore, Lynn W. and Steve Mobley, Jim and Valarie Williams and Kim W. and Lee Cook, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, George L. Dazy and Debbie Perry; sister, Celina P. Brown and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth. Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth. In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be sent to the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, 402 Pinehurst Place, Port Wentworth, GA 31407.
