TAYLOR, Barbara - Peacefully at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of the late Peter Taylor. Cherished mother of Steven and his wife Julie, Andrew and his wife Paulette, Lesley and her husband Tim, Karen and her husband Jose. Grandmother to Zachary, Tyler, Austin, Connor, Noah, Olivia, Kaitlyn and Reilly. Step-grandma to Adam and Greg. Sister to Jean and Linda. Auntie B to Allison, Phillip and his wife Vanessa (and baby Peyton). Barbara came to Canada from England with her family in 1970. She worked at Brantford City Hall, from where she retired in 1998. Barbara was a beloved friend of many, she will be especially missed by her best friends, Fred and the late Doreen Smith, and all at Smokey Hollow Estates. Services will be held at Smokey Hollow Estates, Wednesday April 22nd 2009 114 Powerline Road, Brantford with visitation at 1:15 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
