Baxter, Barbara T. ALBANY Barbara T. Baxter, 68, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta O'Toole Weir. She retired from Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she worked as a billing clerk. Barbara went on to work at the South Clinical Campus gift shop for AMCH. Spending time with her beloved family was her greatest enjoyment, but she also liked taking bus trips with friends and family. She was the dear wife for 36 years of Donald K. Baxter; beloved mother of Caroline Benoit (James) and Brian Donald Baxter; cherished grandmother of James Benoit, Heather Benoit, Joseph Benoit (Jennifer) and Michael Benoit; great-grandmother of Justin Benoit; sister of Robert Weir, Lorraine Maguire (Charles) and the late Ellen Lupe (Phil); survived by an aunt, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, May 20, 2011 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery.
