HAMILTON, Barbara Our beloved Barbara Susan Hamilton born 07/07/48, died in Ottawa on Saturday, April 25, after surgery, attended by her loved ones. Her husband Jerry Thompson, daughter Trisha Cillis (Greg and grandson Michael) and son Stefan Thompson are bereft, as are her grandmother Phyllis Ritchie, brothers Bob (Jane Clark, daughters Emma and Sophia) and Jamie, sisters Jean (son, Danny) and Heather Harper (Ken, daughter Poppy and son Hamilton). Her parents, Bill Hamilton and Peggy (nee Ritchie) and parents-in-law Harold and Ruth Thompson (nee Wise) all deceased, loved her dearly. The Thompson family, brothers of Jerry - Chuck, Jim and Robbie and their families remember her fondly. A service of memory, honour and love will be held for her at 1:00 p.m, Friday, May 1, at St. Mark's the Evangelist church, 1606 Fisher Ave, Ottawa. Barb was a most loving soul who gave generously of herself to all, took great joy in life and spread peace and beauty wherever she walked. We leave her to the gentle care of Jesus Christ in whom she trusted. Donations in lieu of flowers to her favourite charities: Doctors without Borders, World Vision and the Trillium Foundation (organ donation).
