Barbara Sue Young Brown, 65, of Rockwood, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in Roane Medical Center, Harriman.She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood. She was also a member of American Legion Post 50, an avid member of the Rockwood High Tigers Band Boosters and Rockwood Community Craft Club. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold E. Brown; parents, Harry and Mary Young; brothers, George, Ohio, Donald, Ronald and Doug Young, all of Oakdale; and sister, Patricia, Oakdale.She is survived by loving son, David Brown, Rockwood; special grandchildren, Chancey and Kaleb, Rockwood; sisters and brothers, Louise Wesley, Oakdale, Shirley Abell, Kingston, Ralph and Sandra Young, Harriman, Wilma and Bruce Day, Hendersonville, Wayne and Tina Young, Oakdale, Sharon and Larry Davis, Harriman, Debbie and Doug Langley, Oakdale, Brenda Young, Harriman, and Sherry and Bim Scarbro, Tunnel Hill, Ga. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation and funeral services are as follows:Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in Evans Mortuary chapel, Rockwood. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. in Evans Mortuary, with the Rev. Charles Kelley officiating.
