SMITH, Barbara Lee, 64, died October 23, 2005. Born in Winchendon, Mass., she came to this area in 1955. Until recently, she was a board member of the Pulmonary Hyper- tension Association, a national organi- zation dedicated to research, education and cure for the disease by the same name. Her daughter, Angela Kline, passed away with the same disease in 1994. She and her husband, La Verne, owned and operated S&S Electric Co., Inc. Barbara was Catholic. She is survived by her husband, La Verne of Odessa; two sons, Christopher of Oldsmar and Shawn of Tampa; six grandchildren, Amanda, Averi, Tyler, Nathan, Austin and Stephen; and one grandson, Damon. Friends will gather 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759, (727) 796-1992. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, at the funeral home with Father William Nicolaro officiating. Interment will follow a t Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
