SMITH, Barbara Peacefully in hospital on Monday December 3, 2007 at the age of 66 years. Loving mother of Michael of Ottawa. Dear sister of Laurence Corish (Sheila). Predeceased by her parents John and Rose Corish and her sister Diana Tremarco, all of Liverpool, England. A special heartfelt thank you to Susan, Bob, Valerie and Frances. The family wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. J. Bormanis, Don and the staff of the Day Unit of the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus and the nurses and staff of the Acute Monitoring Area B5 for their compassionate and excellent care. The family will receive friends at First Memorial Funeral Services 259 St. Patrick Street between Cumberland and Dalhousie Streets on Saturday December 8, 2007 after 10 am. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations to the Shepherds of Good Hope or to Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated.
