Barbara Salvatini Casey HAMILTON - Barbara Salvatini Casey, 89, of Hamilton passed away Sunday at Hamilton Continuing Care Center, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Casey was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1943 and became a registered nurse. Barbara went to work at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital in 1946 and retired from there in 1984 after 38 years of service. She was a member of St. Raphael's / Holy Angels Parish and was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital, Trenton, and Deborah Hospital, Browns Mills. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Grace Iero Salvatini; sister of the late Santa Beans and Benjamin, Frank and Domenick Salvatini and Salvatore Salvatini Jr., and wife of the late Joseph Lucherini and the late Joseph Casey, Barbara is survived by her step-grandchildren, Michael Annaian, Christopher Nasuti, Kathryn Nasuti, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton. The interment of cremated remains will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's honor to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015, or online at www.deborahfoundation.org.
