SURRY and MONSON - Barbara Opal Robinson, 82, died May 19, 2008, at her residence, in Surry. She was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Monson, the daughter of Rutherford and Adessa (Johnson) Benton. Barbara enjoyed dancing, cooking, reading and fishing. She was an avid NASCAR fan. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Larry of Surry; children, Craig Anderson and Cindy of Alaska and Greenville, Marcia Hughes of Brewer, Robert Anderson and wife, Kathy, of Levant, Daniel Anderson and wife, Dawn, of Eddington, Crystal Gould and companion, Scott Michaud, of Bradley and Thomas Anderson and companion, Penny Bostock, of Hermon; grandchildren, Scott Anderson and wife, Dana, of Alaska, Ryan Anderson of Portland, Timothy Hughes of Brewer, Nicholas Robichaud, Jay and Katie Gould, Cory and Tyler Michaud, all of Bradley, Todd Ellis of Bangor and Chelsea Hodgson of Hermon; step-grand-daughters, Laura, Sha-ron and Sheila Laney of Connecticut; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Joseph; sister, Dorcass Leavitt of Guilford; and will be sadly missed by her canine friend, Chevy. She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Raymond Anderson; brother, Kendric Ben-ton; stepdaughter, Shirley Lan-ey; and granddaughter, Bridget Anderson.
