BARBARA MUSE WHITE, 69Pinellas Co. School Board LAKELAND - Barbara Muse White, 69, died November 24, 2011 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL due to heart failure. Mrs. White was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 23, 1942 and later moved to St. Petersburg where she worked for the Pinellas County School Board. Barbara was President of the Resident's Council of Brentwood Nursing Center and enjoyed crochet, knitting and bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin White, parents Charles and Margaret Muse, sisters Margaret Jo Yarbrough and Nancy Muse McClelland. Mrs. White is survived by her daughters Margaret Brooks of Homosassa, FL, Annette Rock of Pensacola, FL, and Ginger Pishl of St. Petersburg, FL. Also surviving are her sister Elva M. Harris of Lakeland, brother David Charles Muse of Cleburne, TX, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. A service of remembrance to honor Mrs. White will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at Lakeland Funeral Home.
