Avis de décès de Barbara-Mae Mitchell

HARRINGTON - Barbara was born Jan. 10, 1933, in Harrington, to Perley and Lillian Smith. She passed away peacefully Aug. 28, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. On Jan. 19, 1952, Barbara married her husband, Richard Mitchell, who passed away in February 1994. She enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing and was a senior companion to many people throughout the years. Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her three children, Dana and Laura Mitchell of Harrington, Judy Beal of Harrington and Lori and J.J. Antonetti of Madison, Wis.; her grandchildren, Samantha Mitchell and her companion, Kyle Parker, Candace Strout, Tammy and Gary Brown, Steven and Samantha Beal, Richard and Christy Beal, Alan and Rachel Stanwood, Ernie Marston III and James Antonetti; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Jacob, Little Maurice, Hunter, Hannah, Halle, Michael, Natalie, Nathan, Mariah, Emma and Tommy; her sister, Patricia Worcester of Harrington; her two brothers, Roland Smith of Machias and Perley Smith of Jay; her sister-in-law, Lela Mitchell of Portland; also her lifelong friends, MaryLou Burgess, Rosalie Fraser and Marie Leighton. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Harrington.
