EDWARDS, Barbara M. Todd, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., went to heaven Monday, January 3, 2011. Born in Claremont, N.H., she graduated from Northampton Commercial College in 1946 and upon graduation, became secretary to the legal advisor of United Aircraft in Hartford, Conn. In later years she became a real estate broker in Chelmsford, Mass. She married and lived in W. Chelmsford, Mass., until moving to Sun City Center in 2003. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Glenna F. and Harry M. Todd; her former husband, Walter W. Edwards Jr.; and son, Peter F. Edwards; and brother, Richard M. Todd. She is survived by her son, John W. (Sue) Edwards; and daughter, Kim E. (Paul) Scherig; five grandchildren; and five great-grand-children, living in Florida and Minnesota. She also is survived by her twin sister, Helen L. Smith of Northwood, N.H.; sister-in-law, Judy Todd of Epson, N.H.; and brother, Robert E. (Ann) Todd of Kaneohe, Hawaii. She was an active member of the Methodist Church in the states where she resided. A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Betty Beach-Connell officiating. Interment will take place later in the family plot in Claremont, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Capital Campaign Program of SCCUMC in Sun City Center.
