BROWN, BARBARA LOUISE, 73 Ocala - Barbara Louise Brown, 73, passed away at home on September 23, 2014, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on February 10, 1941 in Fort Pierce to James Robinson and Marietta (Raulerson) Brown. She was a very outgoing person who loved to travel, shop, and meet new people. She was very dedicated to her family and a loyal friend. Everyone she met loved her. Barbara dedicated more than 25 years of her life working for Marion County Supervisor of Elections office as a poll director where she recently retired. She is survived by her mother Marietta Brown, sister Connie Shea, brother Wayne Brown, daughter Lori Maxwell, son-in-law Richard Maxwell, and her grandchildren Christopher Maxwell, Bryce Maxwell, and Breanna Maxwell. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 3, with visitation beginning at 6:00 pm and the service following at 7:00 pm. Service will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Road, Anthony, FL 32617, with Chaplain Joe Locagnato officiating.
