BUFFALO -- Barbara Lee Cox, 59, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004, at her home. She was the former Barbara Lee Craggs, a native of Jefferson County, a homemaker and had worked at Richardson's EZ Stop as a clerk/cashier. She was predeceased by her mother, Charlotte Delk. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph R. Cox of Buffalo; daughter, Becky (Shannon) Chelf of Mt. Sherman; son, David (Jennifer) Cox of Buffalo; father, Thomas W. Craggs Sr. of Louisville; sister, Virginia Holbert of Louisville; brothers, Thomas W. Craggs Jr. and Mike Delk, both of Louisville; and grandchildren, Corey Chelf, Matthew Chelf, Ryann Chelf and Madison Cox. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Billy Howell Funeral Chapel in Hodgenville, KY., with the Rev. Shannon McCubbins officiating, and burial to follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2004, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville or Hospice & Palliative Care of Central Kentucky.
