Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Barbara Lee Cooley, of Gadsden, who went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2014. The Rev. Tommy Hutt will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.Mrs. Cooley was born on March 10, 1935, and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Rosie and Elbert Waddell; brother, Larry Waddell; daughters, Joanne Cooley and Cathy Cooley; son, Wayne Cooley; and sons-in-law, Greg Krissie and Carl Bloodworth.She is survived by her brothers, Bill (Penny) Waddell and Gary (Melissa) Waddell; sisters, Ellen (Bob) Boozer, Janice (Johnny) Trevino, Pat Mooney, Joyce Harrington and Sandy (John) Ilsey; son, Danny Cooley; daughters, Lynn (Mike) Camp, June (Tim) Reynolds, Karen (Frankye) Owen, Betty Krissie and Terri Bloodworth; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.The family will accept friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at www.collier-butler.com.
