WILLIAMS Barbara Leah Williams, age 68, of Southbury, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Miss Williams was born in Bridgeport on January 21, 1937, to the late Robert and Ruth Barrett Williams and had been a resident of Southbury since 1943. Survivors include five loving sisters and brothers, Ruth Emery of Maine, Phyllis (Joseph) Latham of Florida, Sally (George) Chapin and Robert (Helen) Williams, all of Milford and Harold Williams of Shelton; and 21 nieces and nephews. Miss Williams was predeceased by sisters, Ann Lewis and Dorothy Tashlein; and by a brother, Raymond Williams. She also leaves behind members of her Southbury Training School family from cottage 33 and 37; and her special friend, Roger. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Siebert and Dr. Melamed and her dedicated caregivers for their devotion to Barbara. A private family service will be held at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment will be in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
