Barbara L. Smith born June 21, 1923 passed away October 15, 2009 after a long illness, she was 86 yrs. old. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Smith and daughter Maureen Smith Sizemore. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Smith Edman, son-in-law Timothy, in Texas, grandchildren, greatgrandson and several nieces. Barbara was born in CT. but moved to Rockland Co. with her husband. She worked for many years at McCall Abstract in New City. A Funeral mass will be held at St.Anthony's in Nanuet on November 13 at 11 am with burial to follow immediately. Barbara requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Humane Society Association .
