GOFFSTOWN - Barbara L. Robinson, a longtime mail carrier in Goffstown, died Jan. 11, 2015, in North Carolina after a long illness. She was 85.The daughter of Lena and Ernest Ploss, she graduated from Goffstown High School and lived most of her life in Goffstown.Mrs. Robinson was a mail carrier at the Goffstown Post Office for more than 30 years and was named N.H. Rural Letter Carrier of the Year shortly before she retired in 2004. She enjoyed golf, hiking, bicycling and her cats.Family members include her daughter, Sandra (Anthony) Zimmerman of Swansboro, N.C.; a son, David (Karen) of Eden, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Laura, Lindsay and Clinton Robinson. Her husband, Clinton, died in 1995.. SERVICES: Burial will be in the spring. Donations can be made to the ASPCA, www.aspca.org.French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S.
