Johnson, Barbara LJan. 4, 1947 - April 6, 2008Barbara L. Johnson, 61, Sarasota, formerly of Quincy, Mass., died April 6, 2008.A celebration of her life will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday on Siesta Key Beach, corner of Beach and Ocean boulevards, beach access No. 5, south of the Terrace Condominiums. Barbara was born in Quincy, Mass.; grew up in the Cape Cod area of Falmouth, Mass. She took college classes to become a legal assistant and returned to live in Quincy. In 1991 she moved to Sarasota, Fla., and continued her legal assistant career where she was presently employed by the law firm of Dickinson & Gibbons. She was also a certified Homeopathic Physician. As well as a member of SMALSS and Science of Mind Church.Barbara was the wife of Charles Johnson; mother of Brian Helle of Pittsburgh, Pa., and stepmother of Rebecca and Andrew Johnson of Macedon, N.Y. She will be greatly missed by many loving friends. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society of Sarasota in honor of Barbara.
