ARMSTRONG, Barbara Kathleen (Kay) nee BIRD We are sad to announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandma, and friend, Kay, on May 6, 2010. Kay was born in Birch Hills, Sask. on November 28, 1923. She is predeceased by daughter Sherry. She is survived by her husband Frank, and by her children, Frank Jr., and Diane (Jack) Klassen. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Charlene, Brittney, Koby and great-grandsons Jordan and Nico. She maintained a genuine interest in her family, friends and the world around her until the end. She endured as the last of twelve siblings. A memorial service, followed by a tea will be held on Friday, May 14 at 2 pm at Valley View, 14660 72 Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Mom's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
