Barbara Jean Woods INMAN, SC-- Ms. Barbara Jean Woods, 62, of 5 Culp Street, Apt. A-2, died Monday, December 19, 2011, at her home after a short illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Dorothy Smith Lunn. Ms. Woods was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board and Hospitality Committee. She also was a member of The Order of Eastern Star. Ms. Woods was employed at Magnolia Manor (Inman) for 32 years and was a 1967 graduate of Bethune High School. Mrs. Woods leaves to cherish fond memories, one daughter, Indrea (Vincent) Woods Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Terry Woods of Inman, SC; two grandchildren, Anthony Woods and Amarra Jackson both of Spartanburg, SC; life-long friend, Brenda Smith of Inman, SC; best friend, Cheryl Pearson of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family and extended friends. Funeral services for Ms. Barbara Jean Woods will be held Friday, December 23, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Willie Rookard. Burial will be in White Hall Independent Methodist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home of her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Smith Lunn, 119 Daryl St., Inman, SC, and also at the home of her daughter, Indrea Jackson, 639 Upward Way, Spartanburg, SC.
