Barbara Jean "BJ" Reesor Love, 61, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2012, at her daughter's home after a long, hard-fought battle with breast cancer. She was a native of Meade County, attended Lighthouse House of Prayer Church in Vine Grove, a member of American Legion Post No. 113 and a former hospital volunteer. Despite being a survivor of polio she accomplished many things: she was married for 20 years, raised two daughters, went back to school and worked civil service at Fort Knox for five years. She enjoyed life, family, friends and her doggies. She will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pauline Tanner Reesor.She is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Reesor of New York and Sarah Love (Mark) Eggleston of Cecilia; three brothers, Robert Reesor of Meade County, Gary Reesor of Radcliff and Edward Reesor of Louisville; a sister, Brenda Reesor of Rineyville; two grandchildren, Natasha and McKenzie; and friend and ex-husband, Wayne Love.The funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Dave Rednour officiating. Burial follows in Elizabeth-town Memorial Gardens.Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues at noon Monday at the funeral home.
