She was employed at AEDC for 27 years as an Environmental Specialist.She was the daughter of the late Mark and Dorothy Bearden of Shelbyville and is survived by her husband, William C. Brown. She also leaves behind one brother, Gale Bearden of Shelbyville, one daughter, Kim Garrott of Murfreesboro, TN; one son, Sean Alexander of Gallatin, TN; one step-son, Keith Brown of Tampa, FL, and three grandchildren.Visitation will be held with the family from 5-8 p.m., Saturday March 5, 2011 at Doak-Howell Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Doak-Howell, with Brother Bobby Mcgee officiating, with burial to follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.Memorials may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
