Barbara Henderson JacksonJasperFuneral services for Barbara Henderson Jackson, 76, of Jasper will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Gates officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.Ms. Jackson passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at her residence. She was born November 30, 1937, in Decatur to Percy and Alma Henderson. She was a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church and was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, and also a great provider for her family.Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Henderson; daughter, Barbara Lea Vernier; son, Torey Darryle Jackson; and father of her children, Herschel Lee Jackson.She is survived by her daughters, Gigi McCauley (Ricky), Barbette Herron and Nina Taylor (Bobby) all of Jasper; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Pallbearers will be family.
