SMITH, Barbara Jane, age 60 of Brooksville, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center of Brooksville. Born in Milan, Tenn. she came here 13 years ago from Lakeland, Fla. She worked in the dry cleaning industry and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Samuel; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Angel of Lakeland, Fla., and Thomas J. Smith of Fayetteville, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and James Anderson of Lakeland, Fla.; brothers, Billy Gene Young of Memphis, Tenn. and Roger A. Young of Lawton, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 4-6 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Inurnment and graveside memorial services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
