HILL, Barbara June 22, 1952 – December 28, 2015With much sadness we announce the passing of our generous, kind, talented, and much-loved Barb, following a brief illness. She was predeceased by her beloved mother Helen Hill, and grandparents Adamantia and George Plasteras and Lilly and John Ross Hill. Barb is survived by her loving family: father Gordon Hill; sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Peter Creasey; brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Donna Hill; niece Erin Creasey; nephew and niece-in-law David and Julie Creasey; her treasured great-niece Helen Creasey; and her special Aunt Marian Hill. Over the years, Barb also enjoyed the support and friendship of her extended Hill clan including Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Neil, Uncle Jim and Aunt Sandy, cousins Scott, Allison, Gord, Alec, and their families; her cousins in Greece; and her multitude of wonderful friends in Alberta and around the world. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Foothills Medical Centre Unit 47, Palliative Care ICU, for taking exceptional care of Barb in her final weeks. A Celebration of Barb''s Life will be held at Lakeview United Church (3023 – 63 Avenue S.W.) on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Barb''s family through www.evanjstrong.com.
