CLARKSVILLE CLARK, BARBARA GENE, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Chicago, IL, and was bookkeeper for Central Music Company in Louisville. Survivors include her husband, William J. Clark, of Clarksville; a son, David Burdette, of Clarksville; two sisters, Sue Terhune and Dorothy Woodcock, of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Anthony Carpenter and Taylor Burdette. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and greatly cherished her family. She loved working at Central Music, especially Al and Eunice Cronin and all of the students. Cremation was chosen. A private memorial service will be held. Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to a charity of the donors choice.
