Barbara E. (Howard) Schmidt died Tuesday, May 11, 2010. She was the devoted wife of James A. Schmidt; loving mother of Jay Schmidt and his wife Donna of Norton, Robert Schmidt and his wife Jeanne of Milton, John Schmidt and his wife Joanne of New Jersey, Karen Conroy of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jeff, Todd, Joseph, Ali, Matt, Jonathan, Katie and great-grandmother of three. Beloved sister of Jean McNeish of Winthrop, Margery Cleary of Mashpee, Webster Howard of New York, Eleanor Howard of Mashpee and the late Irene Wallace and Elizabeth Hourihan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral was from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Route 1A) NORWOOD, Friday, May 14, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends were kindly invited. Interment private.
