Barbara D. Wright, 81, of LaFollette, died June 7 at the LaFollette Court Assisted Living Center.She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class and a retired R.N. with the Campbell County Health Dept.She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Carrie Lawson Douglas; sisters, Mary Easter Gilliam and Carrie Molley; infant brother and sister, Billy Ray Douglas and Georgia Mae Douglas; former husband, James Barclay 'J.B.' Wright.She is survived by her daughters, Libby Wright of Knoxville, and Traci Wright Chambers and husband, David, of Caryville; son, Richard Wright and wife ,Karen, of Big Stone Gap, VA; grandchildren, Matthew, Will and Claire Chambers, all of Caryville, and Rachel, Sarah and Rebekah Wright, all of Jonesborough; sister, Martha Kilgore and husband, Walter, of Harrison, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.The family will receive friends at noon on June 15 at Walters Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow with her son, the Rev. Richard Wright, officiating.Interment will follow at Douglas Cemetery in Jellico.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to LaFollette United Methodist Church, 808 East Central Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766.Walters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
